Trépanier-Voghell is the creative duo formed by artists Anne-Marie Trépanier and Mégane Voghell. Located on the margins of their individual practices, this collaboration is dedicated to the exploration of information processing via hypermedia and digital technology. Their alliance operates through a continuous communication that leverages both the differences and the perceptual similarities of the two artists. The strategic exchange is the basis of a reflexive approach that advocates theoretical research and its practical application in the context of modus vivendi.
Since their first collaboration as curators of the exhibition Sans feu ni lieu ; sans foi ni loi, presented at Studio XX and the online gallery Width: 700px as part of Art Matters Festival 2014, the two young women have nurtured a creative and active union that unfolds across various media. Their collective work has been notably presented at the Eastern Bloc Gallery in Montreal (2015) and at the centre l’Écart in Rouyn-Noranda (2015).
